Mutagenesis

Cadmus Station was meant to be forgotten, a black site asteroid station buried far out in the Ovid Star System. The station is thrown into chaos when an adaptive parasite breaches containment, shifting its form to match whatever room it is in. With 24 hours remaining before the next cargo ship arrives,  players must act fast and hunt down the parasite. By repurposing scavenge gear and broken tech, players stand a chance against the parasite before it destroys the entire solar system. In this tense one-shot, adaptation isn’t just the theme, it’s the only way to survive. 

Mutagenesis is a system-agnostic module designed for the Sci-fi One-Shot Jam 2025 based on the theme 'Adaptation'.  This pamphlet provides the setting, mission objectives, monster stats, and encounter table.
